Vienna, September 9, 2023 (OTS) – Die job fair austria, the leading trade fair for careers, training, trainees and internships, successfully opened today in the Marx Hall. Under the motto “Career Paths for All Generations and Qualifications,” the trade fair will open its doors to visitors again tomorrow, Sunday, September 10th. In Vienna, and next year for the first time in Salzburg, it offers a platform where top companies and outstanding talents with various levels of qualification come together. From students looking for internships or apprenticeships to young professionals and skilled workers over 50 or 60 – the job fair Austria offers all visitors an optimal source of information for their future careers.

The rapid development of the world of work, driven by digitalization and artificial intelligence, represents a challenge for many job seekers. Jobmesse Austria supports participants in finding the ideal professional path in this changing world of work. Youth State Secretary Claudia Plakolm also commented on the importance of the trade fair in her welcoming remarks: “In Austria there are many paths that you can take as a young person when it comes to careers and training. The great diversity is made tangible at the job fair Austria and I think that is very important for career orientation. I was at the European Vocational Championships in Poland this week, where you can see what is possible with training like apprenticeship and for which we as a nation are the envy of the world.“

The first day of the trade fair presented an impressive variety of industries with over 120 exhibitors from crafts, trade, services, industry and the public sector.
