Sultan Al Neyadi, the Emirati astronaut, arrives in Florida today, in preparation for the launch trip to the International Space Station on February 26, as he completed yesterday the last training that took place in the American city of Houston. The astronaut Al-Neyadi will conduct 19 scientific experiments within 4,000 hours aboard the International Space Station, as part of a series of advanced experiments and research aimed at reaching important scientific results, as Al-Neyadi will conduct a large number of them personally. The research experiments will be, in cooperation with NASA, The European Space Agency, the Canadian Space Agency, the National Center for Space Studies in France, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
The astronauts of the SpaceX Crew 6 crew will conduct more than 200 scientific experiments and technical demonstrations that will be conducted during their mission, some of which will include new and exciting scientific research to prepare for human exploration outside low Earth orbit, and then benefit from its results in various life sciences on Earth, and experiments include , studies on how certain materials burn in microgravity, tissue chip research on the functions of the heart, brain and cartilage, and a survey that will collect microbial samples from outside the space station, while the mission of the crew astronauts will include many internal and external maintenance operations for the International Space Station during missions Spacewalk.
The experiments that the astronauts will conduct include a range of areas, most notably the cardiovascular system, back pain, testing and experimenting with techniques, “epigenetic” science, the immune system, fluid sciences, plants, and materials, in addition to studying sleep and radiation. The mission will also include In terms of educational outreach, in order to inspire the next generation of scientists and researchers, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center chose two research projects from the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. The first project focuses on assessing the impact of the microgravity environment in space on the interaction between the heart and body position. While the second project will work on studying the cells of the mouth and teeth on Earth in an environment that simulates microgravity.
Sultan Al Neyadi, the Emirati astronaut, underwent a training program in all departments and units of the International Space Station, to train on how to use the devices and equipment inside it, and to train on emergency situations that may occur on board the International Station, including fire, low pressure, and ammonia leakage.

Survival drills
Underwent survival training in the event of an emergency landing of the capsule in a very cold forest, as well as training in space walking in a space suit weighing up to 10 kilograms, and how to wear it in a zero-gravity environment, and he also completed training in the neutral buoyancy laboratory, maintenance of the International Space Station, and rescue Astronauts in Emergency Situations ICR, while he completed theoretical classes and practical training on the T-38 aircraft, and the number of training courses he obtained reached more than 90 courses, and the number of hours amounted to more than 1400 hours, while he received the astronaut badge from the Johnson Center of NASA after completing his general training, which lasted about 20 months.
