Asunción, IP Agency.- In Caaguazú they work to raise awareness among young people and teachers regarding protective factors and risk factors for the prevention of addictions. The workshop called “A Life with Purpose” was developed in which they discussed the prevention of addictions and the development of soft skills such as self-esteem, leadership, communication skills and other personal development tools.
It is promoted by the Departmental Secretariat for Prevention and Treatment of Addictions of the Government of Caaguazú aligned with the national addiction prevention plan of the SUMAR project of the government of Santiago Peña.
The Sumar project is carried out through the Ministry of Education and Sciences in conjunction with several other State institutions.
The workshop called “A Life with Purpose” was held at the Faculty of Economic Sciences (UNCA) of Caaguazú, and was aimed at all students and teachers. It was promoted from the chair of Professor Paul Cano Raggini.
Educational institutions interested in having said workshop held at their institution can request the Government of the Department of Caaguazú.
