Summer 2025: City Launches Comprehensive Summer Operations Plan

Toluca, State of Mexico, July 16, 2025. – Toluca has officially launched its “summer Safe 2025” operation, a comprehensive security initiative designed to protect residents and visitors throughout the holiday period. This extensive plan will remain in effect until August 31.

Municipal President Ricardo Moreno announced that the operation will significantly enhance surveillance in public spaces. This includes parks, gardens, courts, and sports facilities that will host various summer activities and camps for young people and children.

A fleet of 330 patrols will be distributed across urban and peripheral sectors. Fast response and access to challenging terrain will be managed by 40 Motopatrullas. Specialized K9 units will assist with deterrent and detection tasks, while mounted police will conduct patrols in parks, natural areas, and locations with limited vehicular access.
