Summer Child Feeding Program in San José: Free Meals and Snacks for Registered Minors

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services of San José started the child feeding program during the summer, in which all registered minors will be able to receive lunch from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 snacks: 30 to :30 pm in the following places:

Until the 4th of August:

Roosevelt Community Center: 901 E. Santa Clara St.

Gardner Community Center: 520 W. Virginia St.

Seven Trees Community Center: 3590 Cas Drive.

Welch Park: Clarice Drive & Kenesta Way.

Starbird Youth Center: 1050 Boynton Ave.

Until August 11:

Bascom Community Center: 1000 S.

Bascom Ave Marijane Hamann Park: 2747 Westfield Ave.

Mayfair Community Center: 2039 Kammerer Ave.

Until August 18:

Emma Prusch Farm Park: 647 S. King Road.

This summer would mark the 13th year that this program has provided meals to more than 478 youth per week thanks to the partnership with the summer feeding program, said Jon Cicirelli, Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Services.
