Summer swimming courses in Viennese swimming pools – registration has started | PID press

Vienna (OTS) After last year’s successful “Vienna Swims” campaign, which enabled replacement swimming courses for elementary school children, the Vienna baths are once more offering a large number of swimming courses for children, young people and adults this year.

Deputy Mayor Wiederkehr: “With this offer, we make it possible to learn to swim and put a clear focus on the children’s swimming skills. In 10-day intensive swimming courses with a maximum of 6 participants per course, the most important swimming skills can be learned or improved during the summer holidays.”

Beginners as well as advanced students can participate. The courses take place for 2 weeks from Monday to Friday and cost 100 euros. Registration is now possible online at wien.gv.at/baeder.

Course dates for children and young people – at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.:

03.07. until 07/14/2023: Simmering indoor pool and Amalienbad
07/17 until 28.07.2023: Hietzing indoor pool and Amalienbad
07/31 until 08/11/2023: indoor swimming pool in Döbling and Amalienbad
21.08. bis 01.09.2023: Hallenbad Floridsdorf

Course dates for adults (beginners) at 1 p.m.:

03.07. until 07/14/2023: Amalienbad
