Supply: “Whoever will transport a commodity without an invoice, it will be confiscated from him, and this is a decision.”

Engineer Abdel Moneim Khalil, head of the internal trade sector at the Ministry of Supply, confirmed that rice is produced from 7 governorates and will be available in all governorates, indicating that rice will have a price written on it and an invoice containing the price, like the rest of the commodities, and he said: “Whoever transports commodities without an invoice will be confiscated.” And that’s his decision.”

Abdel Moneim Khalil added, in a phone call to the “Min Masr” program, with the journalist Amr Khalil, on the CBC channel, that the decision to allow rice trading will help provide the commodity in the markets and our production of rice is much greater than our consumption, pointing out that the supply of rice is open until January 15, according to the ministerial decision, and every farmer who did not supply rice will be punished with a fine.

And he continued: “Severe penalties for those who refrain from supplying rice and the imposition of deterrent penalties if commodity prices are not announced,” stressing that the Prime Minister is tasked with dealing with the utmost decisiveness with any attempt to thirst the markets or hide the goods.
