Manama: Lulu Group donated 25,000 dinars to help Palestinians suffering in Gaza. Lulugroup will participate in nationwide campaigns to raise funds for Gaza relief efforts. Lulu Group Director Jusar Rupawala Royal Humanitarian Foundation Secretary General Dr. A donation of 25,000 dinars was handed over to Mustafa Assayed. All Lulu Hypermarkets across Bahrain have the facility for the public to donate any amount at the check-out counters.
Lulu Group’s generous donation to Dr. Mustafa Assayed thanked and appealed to the public to show solidarity. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, called for donations. Lulu Group Director Juzar Rupawala said Lulu’s contribution is in support of the country’s great cause of helping the Palestinians.

Manama: Lulu Hypermarket-Cancer Care Group jointly organized a cancer awareness campaign at Danamal. Dr. Maryam Fida (Medical Genetics and Preimplantation Genetic Testing), Dr. P. V. Cherian (Cancer Care Group President), Mohsin Al Ali (BSafe First Aid) and Juweira (Cancer Survivor) took awareness classes. Gibran (Lulu Marketing Head) expressed thanks.
Cancer care group representatives K. T. Salim, Dr. Iqbal, Dr. Salim Batti, Dr. Asha, Abraham John, Syed Hanif, Vani Sridhar, Anwar Nilambur, Abdul Salam, Sreeja Sridhar, Sunil, Meenakshi Sunil, Biju George, U. K. Anil and more than 100 people including children and adults participated.
