Since 2018, many people have known that the second weekend of May is reserved for hiking on the atypical paths of our small town of Saint-Antonin for the collection of funds paid directly to the IUCT Oncopole of Toulouse in order to finance research and screening programs for gynecological cancers.

Indeed, commitment also means preventing, informing and supporting women in particular facing ovarian cancer which is the very sensitivity of each of the members of the association but it is everyone’s business today. today!
Aware of this deep and unique commitment, Doctor Laurence GLADIEFF, medical oncologist, head of the gynecology committee and head of the medical oncology department at the Oncopole of Toulouse, as well as Doctor Gwenaël FERRON, surgeon, member of the gynecology committee and regional manager for the Rare Gynecological Malignant Tumors network came to provide their support, their thanks, their insights (and incidentally definitely fell in love with our hiking trails) in order to support and encourage this type of event, which is essential for continuing research .
The Rando pour une Maman association sends here a very big THANK YOU to all the actors of this edition: our loyal partners (as part of Pink October, the main pharmacy of Mauvezin to donate all the donations collected for the IUCT Oncopole via our association i.e. 862 euros), donors, hikers, volunteers for having made it possible to donate the sum of 3200 euros on November 10.
This sum is added to the 5,500 euros already paid during the May edition. You now know, it’s easy to remember, 2nd weekend of May and 2nd weekend of September.
