Léa and her brother Enzo Bonhomme from the “Hosanna” association will participate in the 27th edition of the 4LTrophy. This human and supportive adventure will take them more than 6,500 km across different countries, with an average of 150 km/day on more than varied terrain! Their crew is called “Les Bons Hommes” with the number 0721. Departure scheduled for February 15 from Biarritz for the end of the rally in Marrakech on February 25, 2024.
Faced daily with illness in their family, they created the Hosanna association whose purpose is to support young caregivers for their parents or siblings suffering from cancer. In order to raise awareness of their cause among the politicians of Lot and Corrèze in particular, these two former champions of the Biars-Bretenoux Badminton Club, around twenty years old, have been present in many demonstrations over the last three months. They appeared on the show “You are wonderful” on France 3 – They organized a sports raffle to win a signed jersey from different athletes with the CAB Rugby Brive, the Byers basketball team from Fos-sur-Mer, and the Team Popov, two brothers playing at a high level of badminton.
Now they are participating in the 4LTrophy 2024, another way to raise awareness of the association while experiencing, together, intense moments of mutual aid in a grandiose landscape! In the preparation for the rally, following their final registration, they encountered a problem with the 4 l which they had rented for a few months and which they had already prepared well. The vehicle rental company withdrew and wanted it back. They had to search and find another 4 l to rent and start preparation once more, which undermined their morale and their already tight budget. To carry out this rally, they are seeking help from professional and private sponsors…
