Surya moved from Chennai to Mumbai with his family and acquired a luxury flat worth 70 crores. Surya owns the flat in an area where big businessmen and film stars live in Mumbai. The area of the residence is 9000 sq.ft. Adjacent to the flat is a private garden and parking for several cars.
Arrangements have been made in the flat for the arrival of father, mother and brother and actor Karthi from Chennai. This is the place where children’s birthdays and other family gatherings are held. It is reported that Surya has shifted to Mumbai along with her family for her daughter Diya’s education. Meanwhile, Suriya and Jyatika’s production company, 2D Entertainment, is foraying into Bollywood. 2D Entertainment has produced the Bollywood version of Sudha Konkara’s Surarai Potrin starring Surya.
