FOUNDATIONS – LOCKED IN 2024
Of the 26,373 businesses that opened in 2024, most were founded in February (5,244). In January 5,188 were established, in March 4,581 and in April 4,246. Accordingly, the most “lockouts” concern, again, February (1,995), followed by January (1,992), March (1,665) and April (1,462).
In terms of legal form, the majority of the businesses that opened were Individual, with E.E., IKE, O.E. , SA, etc. to follow.

In the corresponding four months (January – April 2023), last year, 22,627 businesses had opened and 7,185 had closed.
