An American university professor rented a room to stay overnight in the British capital, London, through one of the well-known international sites on the Internet, which is what millions of travelers do daily who need a hotel room to spend a night or a few days, but this American was surprised that what he rented is just a “cycle.” Water, no more.

According to the information published by the same university professor and circulated by many media outlets, the room is a large-sized “toilet”, in which the owners placed a sleeping bed located directly next to the toilet, in a completely unfamiliar scene.

The room, which is a “bathroom” with a bed, is listed for rent on the global (Airbnb) website that specializes in short-term rentals, which travelers resort to in order to obtain a room to sleep in a country.

Professor David Holtz, a lecturer at the University of California, posted a picture of the property showing a bed right next to the toilet, with a shower and sink across from the bed.

David Holtz tweeted, “That feeling when you get to your Airbnb and realize the whole space is basically just one big toilet and the host put a bed in.”

Holtz says he first felt that something might be different or strange about this place, when he saw that the menu did not contain any reviews or opinions of previous guests.

Holtz complained to Airbnb, which said it would investigate.

The American New York Post quoted the company as saying: “Our customer service team has been in contact with this guest to provide support … We encourage guests to review all photos, as well as descriptions and comments, before booking a stay.”
