Surprising separation! Cullen leaves Hamilton

Angela Cullen coached Lewis Hamilton for seven years. Now both announced the surprising separation. Rumor has it that the chemistry is no longer right. The unusual timing of the separation for the second race of the season in Saudi Arabia speaks.

“For the past seven years, Angela Cullen has been by my side and has pushed me to be the best version of myself. They have made me a stronger athlete and a better person,” Hamilton wrote on Instagram.

He wished her “the very best as she takes her next steps to pursue her dreams. Thank you for everything Ang and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.”

In her own post, Cullen mentions the “next adventure” she wants to embark on. She is no longer in Saudi Arabia. The former player of the New Zealand national hockey team was not only Hamilton’s coach, but also his confidante.

“I am so grateful and blessed to have had the opportunity to experience this incredible journey in Formula 1 and I know my story will continue. Thanks to the Mercedes team, which has been my family for the past seven years, »wrote the 48-year-old.

And addressed to Hamilton: «You GOAT! It was an honor and a pleasure to stand by your side, I am so proud of you and everything you have achieved. Thank you for supporting me, believing in me and showing me the limitless potential we all have within us. I’m so excited for the next chapter for you. There’s nothing you can’t do.”
