Vienna – A suspected smuggler was arrested in Vienna-Wieden on Sunday night. As the state police headquarters announced, officers from the emergency response unit (BE) noticed a suspicious box van in Weyringergasse shortly following 2 a.m. They stopped the vehicle, whereupon the driver and his passenger jumped out of the car and ran away in different directions. 16 people were subsequently discovered in the hold.
