Starting February 6, the import of pet food from the Italian plant of the American company Hill’s will be suspended. About this on Tuesday, January 30, reports Rosselkhoznadzor.

The decision to suspend imports was made due to the supply of low-quality products. An inspection carried out in November 2023 revealed violations.

Thus, the composition of the feed was not subject to laboratory control. Also, when processing raw materials, there was insufficient temperature.

In addition, there was no information or documents regarding the origin of the raw materials used to produce food for cats and dogs.
