Suspension of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations for “consultation”

Negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in the Gomel region (Belarus) have completed their first day, according to the adviser to the Ukrainian President’s office, Mikhail Podolak.

Podolak said that representatives of the two countries will go to their countries for consultations before the second round of talks.

Later, Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Alexei Aristovich, said regarding the demands of the Ukrainian side, that Russian troops should leave Crimea and Donbass.

For his part, the Russian presidential aide and head of the Russian delegation, Vladimir Medinsky, said that Moscow’s position had been formed.
