On the 17th, an MBC official said, “We are preparing an official statement regarding the JMS Hotel PPL controversy in the entertainment program ‘I Live Alone’ (abbreviated as Nahonsan).” The hotel in question has already issued a rebuttal, and the policy was that ‘no response would be the best’ as the suspicions were absurd. However, as the suspicions continued to arise, the production team is in the process of formalizing an anti-bang stance once again.
Recently, a YouTuber raised suspicions that there was a JMS believer among the production team of ‘I Am Alone’. They claimed that Hotel A, which appeared on the recently aired ‘Nalone Mountain’, is a JMS company and is actually the place where many JMS-related events were held. In particular, the YouTuber caused a stir by emphasizing that “the place where Jung Myung-seok did something cruel to women was suite room 302 of Hotel A” and “if it is free, it is a situation that raises suspicions that there are JMS believers (among the production crew).”
In addition, the YouTuber released a document, saying it was a ‘complaint sent to MBC by the Methodist Heresy Damage Prevention Center.’ The document contains a claim that Hotel A, which appeared on the broadcast of ‘I Am Alone’ on the 3rd, is closely related to JMS, and that as a result, JMS victims complained of pain after watching the broadcast.
However, an official from Hotel A dismissed the controversy, saying to OSEN on the 16th, “Several reports have raised suspicions, but they are not true. I don’t know why such rumors are spreading.” In particular, Hotel A firmly drew the line, saying, “It is not true that we are preparing to file a complaint. We have no plans to file a complaint. We are not acknowledging the rumor, and we do not have the energy to devote to such a matter.”
However, the public’s reaction is mixed. The episode in which Hotel A appeared naturally appeared in the process of covering the daily life of idol group SHINee member Key, who is active as a rainbow member in ‘Nalone Mountain’.
