In the Sverdlovsk region, snowfall began on January 4, which will continue until the morning of January 5. Precipitation is expected throughout the region, said weather forecaster Alexey Pulin.
“On Thursday [4 января] the center of the cyclone will pass through the southern regions of the Sverdlovsk region. Significant warming will occur in the Southern Urals and Trans-Urals, and the Sverdlovsk region will receive snowfalls. Precipitation is expected in most areas of the region, with the only exception being the far north of the region,” wrote Alexey Pulin in the “Weather in Yekaterinburg” telegram channel. Average precipitation is five to seven millimeters of snow cover.
In Yekaterinburg on January 4, cloudy weather is expected and it will snow. At night the air temperature will range from -22 to -24 degrees, during the day it will rise to values from -16 to -18 degrees.
