In the context of the implementation of our decision to be in constant contact with our fellow citizens, we met with executives of our “Patra Enomeni” faction in the Platani Community, on Sunday 4/28/2024. We were informed about the problems and presented our program for the Communities of the Municipal Unit of Rio.
The Municipal Unit of Rio is an area that for the current Municipal Authority is considered as an area of the rich and big capital. To this discredit, however, the residents responded in the recent self-governing elections, bringing our faction “Patra Enomeni” first force.
Let us remind you that we took the lead (so did the faction “Patra Time”) in canceling the unprecedented and illegal increase in the Municipal Tax that the Municipal Authority had decided for the Communities of the Municipal Unit of Rio.
The Unity of Rio faces many problems that affect the daily life of the citizens. The Municipal Authority must free itself from its ideological obsessions and stand by the citizens. Let her prove in her last term that she does not operate solely on party lines and direction.
Our faction “Patra Enomeni” will always be present regardless of party ideologies, with the aim of improving the quality of life of all our fellow citizens.
