Swedbank closes another bank branch | Business

Swedbank’s public relations representative in Lithuania Daiva Taučkėlaitė said that on June 14 is the last working day when we serve customers at the Swedbank branch in Radvilišky.

“Our branch network remains one of the largest, we currently have 43 customer service branches throughout Lithuania. When planning changes in the branch network, we constantly evaluate and must take into account the changing needs of customers and the number of visits to bank branches.

The absolute majority of services, even the more complex ones, can be accessed by clients through our e-mail. channels. In any case, changes in customer service in the regions are a sensitive topic, so we carry them out by informing in advance, consulting with the local community and looking for mutually acceptable solutions”, said D. Taučkėlaitė.

According to her, absolutely all employees continue to work at the bank.

“Part of the employees will change the nature of work in the bank, while the majority of employees will continue to work in their current positions, their workplaces will be moved to Šiauliai. We note that none of the employees currently working in Radvilišky will be fired. All jobs will be saved,” she commented.

According to D.Taučkėlaitė, the aim is to keep the self-service area of the bank in Radviliški where customers can perform all daily banking activities around the clock.

Swedbank recently closed its branch in Prienai.
