Swift Playgrounds upgrades to 4.2 and gains machine learning course

Apple has updated Swift Playgrounds, its app for learning Swift code available on iPadOS and macOS. This has just been upgraded to version 4.2 and now includes two new courses.

The first will allow novice coders to take their first steps with machine learning. They will be asked to upgrade a game of “Rock, Paper, Scissors” through an algorithm of machine learningthe goal being that the program recognizes a hand via the camera.

The second course focuses on the arrangement of views and the display of content. Students will be able to learn how to control the size and position of views by creating their own logging app ».

Apple announces that it has slightly revised its interface with the help of a customizable toolbar in which certain elements can be added. A new app preview tab lets you quickly switch between multiple previews. As a reminder, Swift Playgrounds is available for free on the Mac App Store and on theApp Store.
