Swiss Open: Satwik, Chirag in semis – NEWS 360 – SPORTS

Bern: India’s Satwik Sairaj-Chirag Shetty entered the men’s doubles semi-finals of the Swiss Open badminton tournament. The pair of Sathwik and Chirag entered the semi-finals following defeating the Danish pair of Jeppe Bey and Lasse Molhede in the quarter-finals in a three-game battle. After losing the first game, Sathvik and Chirag fought back and won the next two games to secure the semis. The victory of the Indian alliance was 15-21, 21-11, 21-14 in the 84-minute fight. Currently India’s only hope is the Satvik-Chirag alliance. In the semi-finals, the Indian team’s opponent is Malaysia’s Ong Yew Sin-Theo Yee.
