“The train arrived at the station, I was with my 15 month old baby. The door in front of me wouldn’t open and I asked a young CFF controller to help me get on somewhere else. He replied that the train was leaving immediately…”, says a mother, who was left on the floor a few days ago, on a quay in Sierre (VS). “It is shameful! Imagine if I had been in a wheelchair?!” launches the one who wrote to the SBB to complain regarding the behavior of their employee.

“We take your comment seriously and are discussing it with the person concerned, replied by email, the Swiss railways. A friendly, professional and competent appearance of our staff is important to us.” Frédéric Revaz, spokesperson for the Swiss railways, completes: “Our apologies to our client for her misadventure. If necessary, our customers can of course contact our staff, who will be happy to help them.” The communicator adds that most trains have compartments suitable for pushchairs, with low-floor entrances.

Note that according to an investigation by SBBthe customer satisfaction index was 80.5% in 2022 and 81.2% in 2021.
