Another blow for the international automobile meeting in Geneva. The Geneva international motor show (Gims) will not be making a comeback in the halls of Palexpo, scheduled for February 14 and 19, 2023.
A fourth consecutive cancellation which raises questions about the future of the event which usually brings together nearly 700,000 visitors.
The organizers justify this cancellation by global geopolitical and economic uncertainties, preventing many brands from committing.
Following the agreement signed in 2021 with Qatar which provides for a relocated edition every two years, the GIMS will therefore only be held in Doha, in November 2023.
