Ahead of the Women’s Football World Cup, the Swiss team has been compelled to a very long preparation. Four weeks in Switzerland, then ten days in New Zealand before a first match scheduled for Friday July 21 against the Philippines. It was too much for Fabienne Humm, who works 100% in a logistics company.

The FC Zurich striker is used to taking holidays and unpaid leave to participate in international competitions, but this time she had to give up some portions of the gathering. On Monday June 26, she was not in Yverdon-les-Bains during a morning of meetings with the media, to the chagrin of her teammates.
