Pokémon shop – that’s what it’s all about
Pokémon is a media franchise featuring fantasy creatures that are collected, traded, and trained.
Origin and heart of the franchise is a series of video games that came out on the Game Boy, started in 1996.
A total of over 200 million games have been sold since then.
Cinema films, trading cards and merchandising items generated sales in the billions.
Good news for Pokémon, anime and manga enthusiasts: Switzerland’s first Pokémon shop will officially open its doors on September 2, 2023. In addition to an extensive selection of Pokémon products, numerous fan articles for well-known manga and anime such as “One Piece”, “Dragon Ball” and “Naruto” will also be available in the Zurich Franz Carl Weber branch on Bahnhofplatz.
