SX/US – April 9, 2022 St. Louis-Missouri (13/17): Eli Tomac (YZ450F) snatches a 10th 450SX podium this season!

the Triple Crown de St.Louis rewarded a Frenchman. By finishing twice 2e with the bonus of a round victory, Marvin Musquin wins a 10e 450 career hits. Behind the tricolor, Chase Sexton takes 2e place 3 points ahead Eli Tomac (Yamaha YZ450F-Monster Energy Star Yamaha) 3e 5 units from the French overall.

The pilot YamahaTop4 in qualifying, took 4e place in the first round won by Sexton ahead of Musquin and Malcolm Stewart. Eli Tomac signed a new 4e seat in 2e round behind the French, Jason Anderson and Sexton, before winning the 3e handle in a single rider whose secret it is. The holeshot in his pocket, Eli Tomac was able to resist the muscular comeback of Musquin at the end of the race to clinch victory ahead of the latter, Sexton is Justin Barcia.

On a temporary basis, Eli Tomac adds two more points to his lead over Anderson (56 points). Justin Barcia, always 3e points to 62 units ahead of Stewart at 67. Absent through injury until the end of the season, Dylan Ferrandis preserves its 9e position.

In the standings Builders (combined 450SX/250SX), Yamaha keeps the advantage with 21 points on Honda and 75 on Kawasaki.

250SX-East Coast

Kyle Chisholm (Yamaha YZ250F-Monster Energy Star Yamaha) signed the best performance Yamaha of the weekend with a Top4 overall in front Phillip Nicoletti (Yamaha YZ250F-Muc-Off FXR ClubMX) 5e.

Jett Lawrence won the first two heats ahead of Rj Hampshire and Mitchell Oldenburg before finishing 5e in the last won by Rj Hampshire in front of Phillip Nicoletti and Kyle Chisholm.

Provisionally, Jett Lawrence still leads Cameron McAdoo (injured) by 34 points and Rj Hampshire by 41 units. Enzo Lopes (Yamaha YZ250F-Muc-Off FXR ClubMX) 12e overall remains the first pilot Yamaha with the 6e seat in front Phillip Nicoletti 8e.

Next event, Saturday April 16 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta-Georgia with the first of two Showdowns (West-East) of the season (14/17).
