The McPeak-Sirois Group, a clinical research consortium in breast cancer of which the CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre is a part, will hold the third edition of the Symposium on research that heals: breast cancer in focus, on October 14, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Hôtel Mortagne in Boucherville.
This free event is aimed at anyone affected by breast cancer and who wants to learn more about the innovative treatments available through clinical research in Quebec.
Presentations from physician-researchers and a research nurse as well as a round table of patients who participated in a clinical trial will take place.
“This conference is a concrete action to raise awareness among patients of the cutting-edge treatments available through clinical research and to promote the expertise of our research consortium,” indicates Dominique Johnson, general director of the Group. (AD)
