Tijuana, Baja California (TorosDeTijuana.com-Armando Esquivel).- Toros de Tijuana might not recover from a four-run attack in the second inning and fell 5-2 to Algodoneros de Unión Laguna, starting the series before more than twelve thousand people gathered in the friendly confines of Chevron Stadium.

Efrén Navarro homered but it was too late and the border team left its record at 14-11 in second place in the North Zone.
