The German Dominik Eberle is now kicking for the Detroit Lions in the American football league NFL. This is reported by the sports site “ran”. Accordingly, the 26-year-old will be included in the so-called practice squad, i.e. in the training squad.
The Lions flew in Eberle for a trial session following regular kicker Austin Seibert and his backup were injured. That’s why he might play once morest the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday, even though he’s only in the training squad so far.
Six stations, one game
According to the report, the native of Nuremberg was able to fully convince during his trial training. He sank seven of seven kicks and secured his place with the Lions.
Detroit is Eberle’s sixth NFL stop.
