A EuroMillions player in Dublin has won €500,000 in the Plus draw, while a player in County Cork secured a €161,198 prize in the main draw, according to National Lottery officials.
The Dublin winner purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on Thursday, February 19th, at the Centra Drumcondra store located at 32-38 Lower Drumcondra Road in Dublin 9. The winning numbers for the Friday, February 20th EuroMillions Plus draw were 02, 12, 26, 28, and 41. This marks the second time in less than a week that a Dublin player has claimed the top prize in the EuroMillions Plus draw; a player in the Dublin 24 area won €500,000 on Tuesday, February 17th, after buying a ticket at Dunnes Stores in the Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght.
The Cork winner purchased their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw at Mace Sallybrook in Glanmire, Co. Cork. They matched five numbers and one lucky star in the main EuroMillions draw, securing a prize of €161,198. The winning numbers in the Friday, February 20th EuroMillions draw were 13, 24, 28, 33, 35, with lucky stars 05 and 09.
National Lottery spokesperson Sarah Orr advised winners to sign the back of their tickets and keep them safe. Orr likewise highlighted a previous win in Dublin, noting that another Drumcondra player won €1,005,000 in the special Ireland Only Raffle on Friday, February 13th.
With no winner of the €130 million jackpot in Friday’s draw, the EuroMillions jackpot for Tuesday’s draw is now estimated to reach €140 million.
