The hit list has come out during the investigation of Lawrence Bishnoi, the head of the Bishnoi gang, which has become a symbol of terror in eleven states of India.
Lawrence Bishnoi told National Investigation Agency officials at Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati Jail that he had five prominent figures on his hit list. Among them, Bollywood star Salman Khan ranks first.
Haryana’s Bishnoi community worships the blackbuck, while Salman Khan killed two blackbucks during the shooting of the film ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in 1998. Since then the Bishnoi gang has been following Salman Khan.
Shaganpreet Singh, the manager of slain singer Sidhu Musewala of Indian Punjab, is also on the Bishnoi gang’s hit list. Mandeep Dhariwal, Kaushal Choudhary and Amit Dagar also feature.
