While Bordeaux will play its sporting future Thursday at 2 p.m. in front of the CNOSF, some of its players are the subject of offers. The American club of Minnesota has formulated in recent days a proposal of 5 M€ to recruit the Bordeaux striker Hwang Ui-jo (29 years old, under contract until June 2023). The Girondins de Bordeaux expect more. Hwang favors him, in the state, a European project while he is also the subject of interest from FC Porto.

Euro: Belgium second in Group D thanks to victory over Italy
For their last match in the first round of the Euro, Italy and Belgium faced off on Monday in an unofficial round of 16. Barring France’s surprise defeat once morest Iceland at the same time, the team that emerged victorious from this duel reached the quarterfinals by securing second place in group D. And it was Belgium who emerged victorious from this meeting to win his ticket for the next round (1-0).
Dominating at the start of the game, the Red Flames retreated over the minutes by conceding opportunities. But the Italians were sorely lacking in efficiency and did not find the net despite 20 shots.
Italy came out of a quarter-final at the 2019 World Cup
With only two shots on target, Belgium made the difference with a nice shot from the left signed Tine De Caigny (49th). Surprise, the Squadra Azzura, quarter-finalists of the 2019 World Cup, never gave up their intentions, in vain.

Zion Williamson (New Orleans) and Nicolas Batum (LA Clippers) have signed their contract extensions
As announced by the US media last week, Zion Williamson (22), the star of the New Orleans Pelicans, officially extended his contract for five more years on Thursday with the Louisiana franchise. The amount was not disclosed but it would be between 193 and 231 million dollars.
We know, however, that the contract does not include options. So, unless traded, Williamson will be on the New Orleans team for five years. Major of the 2020 draft, the former Duke star played two seasons in the NBA, averaging 25.7 points per game. He was voted All Star Game in 2021.
Two years and 22 million for Batum?
But last season, Zion Williamson did not play a single minute because of a broken right foot. He returned to training at the end of May and is ready for Pelicans training camp ahead of the start of the next NBA season.
Nicolas Batum (33), the French winger of the Los Angeles Clippers, also signed his contract extension with the Californian club on Thursday. According to Yahoo Sports, it is for two years and $22 million. Last season, Batum averaged 8.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.
