“TAG Airline Passengers Survive Scary Landing After Plane Loses Landing Gear”

The passengers on a flight from Mexico to Guatemala escaped with a fright: a plane lost part of its landing gear while approaching an airport in Guatemala. The TAG plane, coming from Mexico with 14 passengers on board, landed next to the runway at Flores airport in the north of the country, an army spokesman said on Sunday.

The airline said the plane touched down safely “thanks to the experience and expertise of the pilots.” The 14 passengers and three crew members were unharmed.
