The Institut de Cardiologie de Montréal (ICM) Foundation is seeking a Marketing Relationship Advisor to join its Communications and Marketing team, according to a job posting published September 25, 2025. The position, a temporary replacement for a maternity leave, will play a key role in the foundation’s fundraising initiatives.
The successful candidate will report to the Relationship Marketing Manager and will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating relationship marketing activities, both digitally and in print. Responsibilities include proposing relevant content to donors and subscribers based on their lifecycle stage, producing and scheduling newsletters and email fundraising campaigns, and optimizing the donor database through segmentation.
Data analysis is a core component of the role, with the advisor tasked with generating reports to track donation trends and donor behavior, identifying areas for improvement. Quality assurance of email and print campaigns, adherence to best practices in campaign management, and maintaining an updated communications calendar are also key responsibilities.
The ICM Foundation is seeking candidates with a bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in direct and/or digital marketing. Fluency in French, both spoken and written, is essential, with strong English skills also required. Experience with Google Analytics and email marketing platforms, such as Luminate Online, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the NXT/Raiser’s Edge database and HTML coding are considered assets.
The foundation is looking for a candidate with analytical skills, initiative, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as is the ability to work independently. Availability to work during unforeseen events is also required.
