MS NOW and Crooked Media announced a fresh programming deal Tuesday that will bring highlights from the progressive podcast network’s popular shows to the cable channel’s Saturday night lineup. “Crooked on MS NOW” will premiere February 28 at 9 p.m. ET, featuring segments from podcasts including “Pod Save America,” “Pod Save the World,” “Strict Scrutiny,” “Lovett or Exit It,” “Runaway Country with Alex Wagner,” “Hysteria,” “Assembly Required with Stacey Abrams,” “Offline with Jon Favreau,” and “What A Day.”
The deal marks a growing trend of cable networks incorporating podcast content into their programming, as video podcasts gain popularity. Fox News launched a similar initiative last July with the “Ruthless” podcast, a conservative-leaning indicate, according to reporting from Mediaite. MS NOW currently produces 20 original podcasts and 22 showcasts, including “Rachel Maddow Presents: Ultra,” which received a 2025 Edward R. Murrow Award.
Hosts of “Pod Save America” – Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer, and Tommy Vietor – will record introductions and outros for each episode of “Crooked on MS NOW,” according to a release from The Hollywood Reporter. Crooked Media’s podcasts collectively reach more than 30 million monthly downloads, with “Pod Save America” alone attracting over one million listeners per episode.
The premiere episode will focus on analysis of the State of the Union address delivered February 24. MS NOW reaches approximately 11 million Americans weekly on television and reported 3.8 billion YouTube views and 140 million audio downloads in 2025 from its own podcasts.
In a separate announcement, Fox News revealed that Sean Hannity will launch a twice-weekly podcast, “Hang Out with Sean Hannity,” beginning March 3. The podcast will feature long-form interviews with figures from various fields, including culture, business, sports, and politics.
Elsewhere in media news, Norah O’Donnell will guest-host “CBS Mornings” from February 23 to February 25 although promoting her new book, “We The Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Shaped America.” CBS properties including “60 Minutes,” CBS Sports, and “Inside Edition” are being relocated as Paramount Skydance consolidates its New York City office space. Fox Nation, Fox News Media’s streaming service, is now available on Amazon’s Prime Video for $8.99 per month or $71.88 annually, and can be bundled with the Fox One streaming service for $24.99.
