Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the post of US President and US Vice President, has said that if elected, she would prefer to include members of the Republican Party in her cabinet.
In an interview, Kamala Harris said that America needs more qualified people. If we have to make a Republican figure a part of the cabinet for better performance, we will not hesitate to do so.
Kamala Harris said that the most important thing in today’s world is that those who have the ability to do something should be given the opportunity to work. This is also the secret of America’s development. We have employed the most qualified people in the world in every era, we have tried hard to make their future bright.
On a question, Kamala Harris said that today Donald Trump is speaking very strongly on the issue of immigrants, while the fact is that he himself bulldozed the law related to border security. Now that votes are needed, they are trying to appeal to public sentiment by speaking against immigrants.
THE rock band Foo Fighters did not give Donald Trump’s campaign permission to play one of their songs at a recent campaign event, a representative for the band said. They plan to donate royalties from the unauthorized use to Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign.
On Friday, the Foo Fighters song “My Hero” was played at a Trump campaign event in Arizona, according to video taken at the event and shared on social media.
However, a spokesperson for the band said in a statement to CNN Sunday that the group did not give the Trump campaign the green light to use their 1997 hit song.
“The Foo Fighters were not asked for permission, and if asked, they would not have given it,” the rep said in a statement, adding that any royalties the band receives “as a result of this use will be donated to the Harris/Walz campaign.”
This is not the first time a recording artist has denied the use of their music at a Republican presidential candidate’s campaign event.
Earlier this month, Celine Dion issued a statement criticizing Trump’s use of “My Heart Will Go On,” her 1997 ballad, at a campaign event in Montana.

“This use is completely unauthorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” read a statement posted on her social media pages at the time.
The statement also added a quip about the campaign’s choice of music: “And really, THAT SONG?”
On Sunday, Harris’ campaign said it had raised $540 million since she launched her presidential bid less than a month ago. This week, Harris and Walz will embark on a bus tour of Georgia, a key battleground state. (CNN/Z-3)

Washington.-Republican lawmakers are reaffirming their support for former President Donald Trump as a “very strong candidate” for the White House in the face of Kamala Harris’ “fake campaign,” as former Trump allies take to the stage at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago to back the vice president in the race.
Mayor John Giles of Mesa, in the border state of Arizona, television personality Ana Navarro and former Trump Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham took the floor on the second night of the DNC with strong messages against the former president, whom they accused of putting his own interests above others.
These anti-Trump Republicans will be joined at the United Center, the venue for the partisan event, by former member of the Republican candidate’s team, Olivia Troye, and former representative to the United States Congress from Illinois, Adam Kinzinger, one of the most vocal detractors of the former president after the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
While their approaches are different and they all warn that they are out of place in the Democratic partisan meeting – whose main objective is to energize the Democratic base in favor of the partisan presidential duo – the anti-Trump Republicans agree on a strong message: the well-being of the country is above partisan loyalties.
“This is my message to all the Republicans and independents watching, people like me who voted for Trump and believed in him. I made a grave mistake, but it’s never too late to change your mind. You don’t have to agree with everything you hear tonight to do the right thing,” conservative analyst and former MAGA Richard Logis said in a video message to the convention on Monday.
On the other hand, Republicans who support the tycoon and party leader reject these positions, but insist that it is something they anticipated.
“The truth is that we are not very surprised that this type of thing happens in the climate of political polarization that we live in the United States. The truth is that what is important is that our candidate is a very strong candidate, unlike the candidate of the Democratic Party,” the Spanish-language spokesman for Donald Trump’s campaign, Jaime Florez, told the Voice of America.
For Florez, the contrast is clear. “We have stated that we are much stronger in economic matters and that in terms of security, much was achieved during the Trump administration, which has not been achieved during the Biden administration and which, on the contrary, has been aggravating the issue of domestic security, particularly in our neighborhoods here in the United States.”
The Democratic National Convention, which will conclude on Thursday after four days of events and speeches that have demonstrated the enthusiasm of the blue party, energized by the rise of Kamala Harris to the top of the presidential ticket, after the exit of President Joe Biden from the race. The atmosphere around the event is one of “joy” and expectation, according to what participants told VOA.
But for Republican lawmakers like Mike Waltz, there is no reason for optimism.
“I don’t know what’s joyful about attacking your opponent, denying your record and ignoring the fact that Americans are hurting,” the Florida congressman said at a daily Republican briefing near DNC headquarters.
“If you want to spread joy, tell the American people why you failed them so desperately for three and a half years and what you’re actually doing to take responsibility for the failure and do something about it. Instead, you have a fake campaign,” Waltz said.
Florez agreed. “Kamala Harris’ first day was January 20, 2020. She has been in government for almost four years, and has been responding very poorly for almost four years, on issues such as the border, on issues such as the economy,” the spokesperson said.La Voz de América.

Washington.-Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (2017-2021) cast doubt on whether he will debate his Democratic rival Kamala Harris on ABC on September 10, although he maintained that he has no problem accepting the rules of face-to-face debate.
In a statement during a campaign event in Virginia, the New York tycoon criticized the channel’s “hostility” toward conservatives and criticized the fact that a change in rules was being considered.
“I’d rather do it on NBC. I’d rather do it on CBS. Frankly, I think CBS is very unfair, but the best of the bunch, and I’d certainly do it on Fox, even CNN. I think CNN treated us very fairly last time,” he said.
The last debate took place on June 27 with the then Democratic candidate, President Joe Biden, whose poor performance in that exchange ended up triggering his withdrawal from re-election in July.
In that first face-to-face meeting of the November 5 elections, the microphone of the candidate who was not speaking was muted.
The campaign of the current Democratic candidate, Vice President Kamala Harris, has asked the channel to change its position so that she can have the immediate right to reply.
“We agreed to the same rules. I don’t care. I would probably prefer to have it on, but the agreement was that it would be the same as last time. In that case, it was silent,” Trump said on Monday.
The Republican campaign has also turned its attention to criticizing the Democrat.
“If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s her problem. This seems to be a pattern for the Harris campaign. They won’t let her do interviews or press conferences and now they want to give her notes to cheat,” said Jason Miller, Trump’s spokesman.
The disagreement over the rules comes a day after the former president said Republican Sen. Tom Cotton was treated poorly during an interview Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.”
The September 10 debate was already a done deal before Biden renounced his candidacy. Trump later proposed that there be three: September 4 on Fox News, September 10 on ABC and September 25 on NBC News, but the Democrats only accepted the one initially agreed upon.Infobae.
