For the second time in three nights, the Milwaukee Bucks dominated the Detroit Pistons (116-91) and thus put on their 7th victory in a row since the start of the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo’s team, the only one not to have lost this season in the NBA, has thus preserved its place at the top of the Eastern Conference, while the Cleveland Cavaliers, winners in a snatch of the Boston Celtics (114-113 ), hunt them closely. The Bucks are having one of the best season starts in their history, as in 1971 or 2018, where they also started with seven successes in a row.
Unlike Monday (110-108), the formation coached by Mike Budenholzer had less difficulty overcoming the Pistons, with a Giannis Antetokounmpo who immediately put them on the right track, notably scoring 15 points in the first quarter. The Bucks then never really wavered, carried throughout the meeting by the Greek, author of a total of 32 points, 12 rebounds, 5 steals and 4 assists, but also by Jrue Holiday (26 points, 7 rebounds). For their part, the Pistons were limited by the performance of their leader Cade Cunningham, muzzled to ten points, and penalized by the carelessness of Bojan Bogdanovic, who lost seven balls. Frenchman Killian Hayes played 22 minutes for Detroit, scoring 5 points, 1 assist and 1 steal. The Milwaukee Bucks will now attempt to extend their unbeaten streak overnight from Friday to Saturday once morest Rudy Gobert’s Minnesota Timberwolves.
In the other matches of the night, the Portland Trail Blazers suffered their second defeat of the season, once morest the Memphis Grizzlies (111-106), and thus leave the head of the Western Conference to the Phoenix Suns. Still in the West, the Dallas Mavericks tamed the Utah Jazz (103-100) with a Luka Doncic still on fire (33 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists). As for the Los Angeles Lakers, they pulled away, in overtime, to beat the New Orleans Pelicans (120-117) and thus win their second victory in a row.

Considered the big favorites to win the next Super Bowl, the Buffalo Bills held their rank on Sunday during the sixth day of the NFL regular season. They won at the Kansas City Chiefs (24-20), in a duel between the two best teams in the American conference. The stars of the Bills were there: 329 yards (and three touchdowns) from Josh Allen including 148 for Stefon Diggs and two sacks from Von Miller. Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City quarterback, threw 338 yards, but he conceded an interception late in the game on his team’s last offensive series.
Cincinnati wins thanks to Burrow and Chase
The Philadelphia Eagles picked up a sixth straight win and are the only team still undefeated this season. They won once morest the Dallas Cowboys (26-17), who themselves remained on four wins in a row. Philadelphia got off to a great start, leading 20-0 in the second quarter before seeing the Texans come back to 20-17 early in the final quarter. But the Eagles finally took cover with a DeVonta Smith touchdown. Their defense also intercepted three times Cooper Rush, the Dallas QB, who had never seen one of his passes end up in the arms of the opponent this season.
The Cincinnati Bengals, finalists of the last Super Bowl, won at the New Orleans Saints (30-26). They were only in the lead on the scoreboard two minutes from time, following a superb TD from Ja’Marr Chase, well served by Joe Burrow. The Bengals then stopped New Orleans’ last series. Burrow feasted, with 300 yards and three TD’s, and Chase was often at the conclusion. Defending champions, but beaten in the last two days, the Los Angeles Rams revived by beating the Carolina Panthers (24-10).
Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers beaten
Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers both lost. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were beaten at the Pittsburgh Steelers (20-18). The latter had however won only one match since the start of the Championship. Tampa Bay scored a TD 4’38” from the end, but missed the two-point conversion, which would have allowed them to equalize. And behind, the Steelers managed to keep the clock.
Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were dominated at home by the New York Jets (27-10). The New York franchise owes its victory to its defense, which martyred Aaron Rodgers (four sacks and a fumble), and its runner Breece Hall (116 yards). Among the weakest teams in the NFL in recent years, the Jets surprise, in this first third of the season, with already four wins in six games.
Another injured QB in Miami
The New York Giants are also having a good Championship. They beat the Baltimore Ravens (24-20) and thus signed a fifth victory in six matches. Baltimore has long been in front, but in his last two series, Lamar Jackson, his quarterback, was intercepted and committed a fumble. Atlanta, despite a disappointing attack, created a surprise, beating San Francisco (28-14), which has the best defense in the NFL (in yards conceded). Indianapolis won once morest Jacksonville (34-27), with a gala Matt Ryan (389 yards, three TD’s).
Finally Miami still has problems with its quarterbacks. Skylar Thompson, his third QB, suffered a hand injury once morest the Minnesota Vikings. Recovered from his concussion the previous weekend, Teddy Bridgewater replaced him, held his rank well (329 yards), but might not prevent the defeat of the Dolphins (24-16).
A match within the match will be played this Sunday evening on the lawn of the Parc des Princes, between the two stars of the Southern Cone (southern tip of South America). Teammates at FC Barcelona for three seasons (2011-2014) and regularly opposed in selection, the Argentinian Lionel Messi (35 years old) and the Chilean Alexis Sanchez (33 years old) find themselves this time in a Classic. Undisputed leader at Udinese (2008-2011), the native of Tocopilla (north-west of Chile) did not immediately find his marks on his arrival in Catalonia. “Alexis had arrived in an already well-established team, with an established structure and hierarchy.recalls Andoni Zubizarreta, Blaugrana sporting director from 2010 to 2015. It was not easy to play in this Barça. His role was in particular to give amplitude to the team and to open up spaces for the full-backs and for Leo. »
