The Philadelphia Sixers dominated the Los Angeles Lakers (105-87) on Thursday at home during the NBA regular season. The Californian franchise, victorious over Brooklyn on Tuesday and which has just recovered Anthony Davis, finally recovered from a sprained knee, on the other hand found itself deprived at the last minute of LeBron James, hit in the left knee and therefore spared.
The 76ers took the lead early in the game, leading 32-22 late in the first quarter. Even if they have long been in contact with their opponent in the score (54-52, 25th), the Lakers have never taken control of the meeting. And Philadelphia ended up flying (88-66, 36th) and no longer being worried.
Davis versus Embiid twice
Joel Embiid (26 points) and Tobias Harris (23 pts) guided the Sixers to victory. On the side of Los Angeles, Anthony Davis was the most prominent, with 31 points and 12 rebounds, but also four blocks (including two inflicted on Embiid). Russell Westbrook scored 20 points.

Defeated in game 1 of the NHL play-offs, the Florida Panthers reacted against Washington

Number 1 in the NHL regular season, the Florida Panthers had missed their entry into the play-offs, losing (4-2) at home to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday. But the Miami franchise recovered on Thursday and clearly beat the team from the capital of the United States (5-1), still at home, in game 2 of its first round series.
Ekblad, Barkov, Marchment, Lundell and Verhaeghe scored for the Panthers. Nicklas Backstrom scored the only goal for the Capitals, with the help of Alex Ovechkin, credited with an assist. Game 3 between the two teams will take place on Saturday, in Washington this time.
Dallas surprend Calgary
Also beaten when they entered the play-offs, the New York Rangers reacted once morest the Pittsburgh Penguins (5-2). The two teams are tied, one win all. The Dallas Stars signed a good performance, beating the Calgary Flames (2-0), winners of the Pacific Division, and equalizing in their series, with a victory for each side.
Finally the Colorado Avalanche widened the gap once morest the Nashville Predators (2-1 ap), thanks to a goal from Cale Makar. The Denver franchise leads by two sets to nil. In the other series of the first round of the play-offs, Tampa Bay, the double defending champion, and Toronto are tied (1-1), as are Minnesota and St Louis and Edmonton and Los Angeles. Carolina, for its part, broke away from Boston (2-0).

The Los Angeles derby had the right to a spectacular outcome with a decisive basket from Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson, following a spin (rotation on oneself) to avoid a two-man catch, scored four seconds from the end. This saved the game for Nicolas Batum’s team (4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks), which found itself led by the Lakers, deprived of LeBron James (knee), twelve seconds from the buzzer then that she had a seven-point lead with 3’25 to go.
This result materializes a reversal of the trend since the Clippers have just overtaken the Lakers (who have lost nine of their last thirteen games despite Anthony Davis’ recent return from injury, 30 points and 17 rebounds on Thursday evening) in the soft underbelly of the western conference.
Golden State Warriors – Sacramento Kings : 126-114
The evening offered another 100% California duel, which was logically won by the San Francisco team. Detroit Pistons – Minnesota Timberwolves : 117-128
