Breaking News: Sattler Group Acquires K+W Kunst- und Werktruck, Facilitated by Enomyc
Hamburg, June 16, 2025 – The M&A experts from SME advice Enomyc have successfully completed another significant transaction in the print industry. The Sattler Group has taken over all assets and business operations of the insolvent K+W Kunst- und Werktruck Hinrich H. Leonhardt Günter Wedekind GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Oeynhausen. The seller was the insolvency administrator, lawyer, and tax consultant Martin Schmidt, who commissioned Enomyc to handle the sale.
Continuity and Expansion for K+W
Under the new ownership, the print shop will continue to operate under the name K+W Kunst- und Werbertruck GmbH as an independent, 100 percent subsidiary of Sattler Media GmbH. The Bad Oeynhausen location will be preserved, ensuring continuity for the approximately 800 employees. The Sattler Group, one of the largest printing service providers in Germany with around 800 employees across seven production sites, aims to expand K+W’s portfolio in areas such as advertising side inserts, accidental pressure, dialogue marketing, and logistics.
“Due to the affiliation with the Sattler Group, K+W can significantly expand its portfolio, for example, in the areas of advertising side inserts, accidental pressure, dialogue marketing, and logistics,” says Andrej Kirschke, responsible for the project at Enomyc. “At the same time, the Sattler Group benefits from K+W’s longstanding expertise in art and advertising prints.”
