In “Yajiuma no Mori”, we will tell you regarding a wide range of topics that are not limited to news and reviews. “MSDN Forum” ends The “MSDN Forum”, which is familiar to programmers and engineers who have been in touch with Microsoft technology for a long time, seems to be finally coming to an end. The other day, along with the “Technet forums,” it seems that posting is no longer possible, and each forum has a notice in the header that says, “This forum is closed. Thank you for posting.” I was able to post until yesterday. Thank you very much for your time. (.NET Framework forum) pic.twitter.com/SIv2vynRp8 — Benshi (@Benshi_Orator) July 29, 2023 Actually, the English version of “MSDN Forum” and “Technet Forum” are already in read-only mode, and the successor “Microsoft Q&A ” has been migrated to. Other languages were lagging behind and were still up and running, but lately they have been spammed and almost unusable. Spam-filled “MSDN forums”. Thank you very much for your time. In addition, “MSDN forum” and “Technet forum” will not be able to ask new questions or answer, but the huge amount of accumulated contents will be left as it is. For the time being, it will be in read-only mode and will be archived at a later date, but it seems that measures such as redirection will be taken. You don’t have to worry regarding losing access. But for now, Microsoft Q&A can’t carry on the reputation of the “MSDN Forums” and “Technet Forums” because it would require recreating profiles. For those who have been here for a long time, it might be a bit lonely. However, moderators can continue to be active as moderators in “Microsoft Q&A” by going through the prescribed procedures.

Microsoft now sells replacement parts for Xbox controllers
2023-08-02 12:29:22
Microsoft has now started selling replacement parts for its Xbox Wireless Controller and Xbox Elite Series 2 Wireless Controller on its website. The store not only offers replacement sticks and buttons, but also entire circuit boards. Replacement parts are available in a range of repair kits, including cheaper kits which only include the buttons, or more expensive kits which include a replacement PCBA and motor assembly. Replacement parts are currently only available in the North American market, according to Xbox Insider program manager Brad Rossetti, who made the announcement via Twitter. Several limited edition Xbox controllers have been released recently for gaming, including the recently unveiled Xbox Starfield Limited Edition controller. Microsoft also recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed controllers that smell like pizza. Unfortunately, these are only available to contest winners.

WhatsApp launches video messages (which all other apps already have)
2023-07-27 16:52:27
In a year particularly rich in news for the “lazy” of WhatsApp, today arrive instant video messages, or rather the equivalent with the videos of the famous voice messages; a function common to many messaging apps but which until now was missing from the most used app of all. You can send clips up to 60 seconds long: just press the same voicemail button to switch to video mode and hold to record. Likewise, you can swipe up to lock the function and save the video without having to hold it constantly. The videos sent will be played automatically by the recipient, but without audio: to activate it, just touch them. And like all WhatsApp messages, Quick Videos are protected with end-to-end encryption, for maximum privacy. The feature is rolling out for Android and iOS, but won’t be rolling out for the next few weeks, so don’t worry if you don’t have the ability to immediately impress your friends with instant video.
