We’re officially one week away from the start of the new Michigan high school football season.
Teams around the state are continuing their preseason prep work, with several starting to engage in scrimmages. That was the case on Thursday as the team from Riverview Gabriel Richard welcomed in their counterparts from Dearborn Heights Annapolis.
Similar to 7-on-7 meets over the summer, each team got to possess the ball offensively on two different occasions for about 10-15 minutes each time. It was the first instance of live a game action after practicing in-house with and against themselves during the two weeks prior.
