Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku participated in the group training of his team, Inter Milan, today, Thursday, after an absence of nearly two months due to a left thigh injury.
According to press reports, Lukaku underwent medical examinations, last Tuesday, and showed an improvement in his condition, but the technical staff preferred not to participate in the group exercises yesterday.
Reports indicated that the Nerazzurri’s technical staff is seeking to have Lukaku in good physical condition before the decisive match against Czech Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League, which the team needs to win in order to theoretically qualify for the quarter-finals.
It is reported that the injury caused Lukaku to miss 11 matches in all competitions, and the last match the Belgian played was during Inter lost to Lazio (1-3).
