The developer of the global open source video game series “Assassin’s Creed” revealed that it is preparing to release a new version of the game during 2023, and its events will take place in Baghdad during the ninth century AD.
Ubisoft added that the new version of the game, called “Assassin’s Creedmirage”, will revolve around the assassin’s character named Ben Isaac, and the new version will return to the roots of this game from a stronger focus on assassination, infiltration and deception.
After previous releases that revolved around the adventures of the Vikings in England or warriors, in ancient Greece, the game’s designers returned to Baghdad in the golden age of the Islamic State.
The promotional advertisement for the new version, which recorded regarding two million views on YouTube, shows the character of the hero who fights with the sword in the streets of Baghdad, the Iraqi capital, and with him his eagle named Luffy.
