Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Hoshiarpur Ajwal Road, is the Saini who got into the controversy. Ramesh Kumar says that the Benz belongs to his relative who is working abroad. Relatives and family living in America come back every year and a half. He also explains that the luxury car at home is parked throughout the year and entrusted to him to drive it occasionally so that it does not break down. He said that every 10-15 days he used to travel a short distance in his car and park it back and he reached the ration depot during such a day’s driving. He disclosed that he saw his children standing for subsidized wheat at the depot and allowed them to load the wheat in the car as per their request.
Ramesh Kumar, who was a truck driver, had to stop working due to an accident. Son Anoop Saini runs a studio in a rented room. His wife Rajwinder Kaur also works as a seamstress to support the family. Ramesh Kumar says that someone mistakenly recorded the video and if necessary, he can check the records of the car.

A detention officer and a Mesa firefighter made the rescue, the Apache Junction Police Department said on Twitter. The incident was on July 28.
“We are deeply saddened that we were able to save the driver but not her dog. At last check, family and friends were searching for this beloved pet,” the law enforcement agency said on Twitter.
