Chandigarh: A video of a man carrying Rs 2 wheat subsidized by the Punjab government to economically backward families in a luxury car has gone viral. After the video went viral and a lot of criticism was raised, the authorities intervened in the incident. Finally, the truth of the incident came out when the person who bought the subsidized wheat explained the matter.
The incident took place in Naloyan Chowk, Punjab. At the foodgrain distribution depot, a person reached the Benz car and took a sack of wheat worth two rupees in the car. Someone in the area captured the incident on a mobile phone and uploaded it on social media. After the incident went viral, many people came forward with criticism.
It has been demanded that the rich people are illegally taking the food items provided by the government to the poor and the person in the video should be found and action should be taken. With this, the Food Supply Department has been directed to investigate the incident. On this occasion, the person involved in the video came forward with an explanation.

Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Hoshiarpur Ajwal Road, is the Saini who got into the controversy. Ramesh Kumar says that the Benz belongs to his relative who is working abroad. Relatives and family living in America come back every year and a half. He also explains that the luxury car at home is parked throughout the year and entrusted to him to drive it occasionally so that it does not break down. He said that every 10-15 days he used to travel a short distance in his car and park it back and he reached the ration depot during such a day’s driving. He disclosed that he saw his children standing for subsidized wheat at the depot and allowed them to load the wheat in the car as per their request.
Ramesh Kumar, who was a truck driver, had to stop working due to an accident. Son Anoop Saini runs a studio in a rented room. His wife Rajwinder Kaur also works as a seamstress to support the family. Ramesh Kumar says that someone mistakenly recorded the video and if necessary, he can check the records of the car.

A video of a woman rescued by police from a car stuck in a flood in Arizona has gone viral. In the video shared by the Apache Junction Police Department, the car can be seen stuck in the strong flowing water. The standing of the car in the water is frightening.
The policemen broke the car window and threw a tow strap through it, but the woman was initially unable to crawl out. As the policemen repeatedly asked them, they would hold on to the strap and slowly come out and escape.
The woman was worried regarding her pet dog since it got stuck in the car. Police officers can also be heard shouting from outside to save the dog.
On July 28, 2022, the Apache Junction Police Department responded to 24 different calls for service related to flooding.

A detention officer and a Mesa firefighter made the rescue, the Apache Junction Police Department said on Twitter. The incident was on July 28.
“We are deeply saddened that we were able to save the driver but not her dog. At last check, family and friends were searching for this beloved pet,” the law enforcement agency said on Twitter.
