MADRID, 27 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Taiwan’s Foreign Minister, Joseph Wu, has considered that the latest records of Chinese military forces on the island are one more reason to warn of a possible future invasion.

“What China has done this Christmas season is precisely why Taiwan needs to strengthen its defense capabilities. Only preparation can deter aggressors from an invasion attempt. And surrender is not an option for us! Never!”, the defense headline shared on Twitter.

The Defense Ministry registered 71 Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLAN) military aircraft and 7 warships around the coast of Taiwan during the early morning of December 26, around 06:00 (local time).

In response, the Ministry of Defense sent military aircraft, Navy ships and land missile systems to monitor these activities, Defense reported through its profile on the same social network.
