Tamara Adrián explained the modification of the Transitional Statute in the country

Political leader Tamara Adrián spoke about the draft modification of the Transitional Statute presented by the Primero Justicia party. He indicated that “the separation of powers is the basis of all democratic institutions.”

Through her Twitter account, the deputy of the National Assembly elected in 2015 published an explanation for “those who are not lawyers” and the issue is better understood.

“Each Constitution establishes the rules for this separation of powers, and the powers of each of the branches of public power. Under constitutional law it is said that the powers thus established are: non-extendable and non-derogable, ”he wrote on Twitter.

Regarding the non-extendable of the powers, Tamara Adrián assured that she refers to the fact that “no power can assume the powers of others.” Well, this would mean a usurpation of functions and abuse of power and authority.

Regarding non-derogability, he pointed out that “no power can renounce, transmit, transfer or assign all or part of its powers or attributions or penalty. Likewise, of absolute nullity of all the acts carried out ”.

Last Monday, December 27, the reform project was approved during the ordinary session of the National Assembly, elected in 2015. Where they continued the presidency in charge and the majority opposition Parliament.

The modification of the Statute that governs the Transition to Democracy in the country, which extends the interim term of Juan Guaidó, opens the way to a legislative government, according to political analysts.
