A few hours after the news, Mardones shared a post on his social networks, thanking the experiences on television and the teams he worked with. “End of a cycle”, he started saying. “I always wanted to work on a morning show and I was lucky enough to do it on two channels. Today I decided to leave it and focus on new personal projects that will fill my heart, ”she added.
Besides, stressed that communications are the most important thing for her, “I love to communicate, I will not stop doing it because being a journalist is still a dream for me,” he said. “I leave behind a lot of dispatches and lived stories. I appreciate the trust of all those I met through my work.”
Previously, Mardones had commented that she was tired of the content she covered, pointing out the harsh reality of morning reporting, and that it affected her for being a sensitive person.
“Many terrible problems, police, disappearances, murders and all that happens to you as a journalist. It happened to me that I am very sensitive and all the problems that I reported and the people that I contained. The competition is the rating, you don’t want another channel to ‘steal’ a person from you, it’s super hard,” she assured.
