Kochi: Tattoo artist P.S. Sujeesh was arrested by the police. She surrendered at the Cheranalloor police station on Saturday evening after the women lodged a complaint against him. Police later registered an arrest.
He has been charged with six counts, including rape. Four at Palarivattom station and two at Cheranalloor station. Sujeesh is an artist at ‘Infected Tattoo Studio’ in Edappally. Police arrived here on Saturday evening to gather evidence.
Many people were sharing their grief after a young woman revealed on social media that Sujeesh had sexually assaulted her while drawing a tattoo on her private parts.
The woman, who made the first revelation on social media, came with her parents and shared the details with the police but did not lodge a complaint. Six complaints were later received. The case was registered at the North Women’s Station after the statement of the young woman. The medical examination was also completed.
